Creep - Death never sleeps (web) by Demi-Beast Creep - Death never sleeps (web) by Demi-Beast
Because someone has to take care of all the passed away souls that left death, life-less bodies back on earth and Creep is the man for that job.

He's a gravedigger / undertaker and takes care of the graveyard at night, always with the cold shuddering breath of death along his neck while he carries heavily filled coffins or grave stones around or keeping the graveyard clean, a bit as if he was a guardian for those who shall nothing but rest in peace.

This is a goddamn long overdue AT between :iconashy666: and me which I already started sketching like a year ago (and still have a few other pics to draw for a few sweet peoplez who helped me out when I needed the help :3)

Anyways, no, he hasn't a long tail like he usual canines, because he's a bandicoot-hybrid with somewhat like a bunny-tail only ;p

Also I dont know if I could afford the marker art for many years more, two Copic Sketch markers are like 20 US-Dollars now, which is simply insane for a marker that lasts for just two, maybe three or four pics, depens on the amount of usage per pic. The cheap markers are okay but their color palette sucks, especially when warm gray looks like soft brown, cool gray like a faded sky blue and neutral gray more like grayish green, maybe because markers made in china have a lack of quality, like lots of stuff from there... why must such a country produce so much crap? Thats not worth all the wasted ressources of our planet...

Anyways, if those markers are keeping their price increasing I'm gonna go back to colored pencils or paint brushes and acryls, it doesnt cost me like up to 150 bucks for starting a new picture where I need to get new markers that got empty in the latest artworks.

I hope you still like it, as always it's done with love and care.

Saw this by chance and theres just something I like in this actually, maybe its the bad ass theme over all and stuff, and as obvious it is, the fox is really damn strong indeed being able to carry a coffin like THAT.  His clothing too get my attention, nicely bad ass style ^^

It's actually a bandicoot-hybrid, not a fox XP
But thank you, glad you like the overall apperance of him and the theme ^^

Bandicoot? well then even better, cause that relates to one of my favorite games XD.  This guy should get a game of his own, just saying.  Would be full of badassness ^^

You've got some mean skill with them copics -and that's a compliment.  I bet you had to constantly practice with them just so you'll get that damn good with using them. Okay, I'll stop gushing like that. I just find it cool that you guys pull off coloring pictures like this one so damn effortlessly -or so it seems anyway- while I seem to always get some some shit-tacular results whenever I just do Prismacolors -sometimes.- Keep up the kickass work.

Well, it sure takes practice to work with copics like this and I think I still could practice much more with them, its just hard to do free practicing with them because they are quite pricy xp

Copics are pricy and so are Prismacolors. But both are really good at creating some decent coloring effects when used well. Basically, it depends on how much effect you want to bring out in your artwork. If you have some skill, then you could even make crayons and simple color markers work. However, stick with what is good quality for you. Also stick your head into a few art and craft stores from time to time because they might carry copics that are cheaper in price. Some art stores can provide a discount if you are a college student.

This is an amazing piece DJ.  I really love the pose.  Say... if you are looking for a good traditional art tool, may I suggest watercolor pencils.  They are applied like regular colored pencils, but can be blended with water.  They are cheaper than Copic markers and can come in a pretty wide color palette.  I find them fun and easy to use.  I wish you good luck with your future art.:D:heart:

Well I know about them and even have those things but I am not the water-color artist... I love strong and bright colors, watercolors are more for fading colors and effects ^^"

I understand.  I actually don't like using water colors, just water color pencils because they're easier to use and can be very vibrant if used correctly.  The traditional tools mainly prefer to use are colored pencils.  Prismacolor to be more specific.  I'm much more of a digital artist in general.  I wish you the best in your future works, DJ.:D

I know what you mean about the markers. Kudos for developing such a high level of skill with those things! I've experimented with them myself, but the cost was too damn high to be worth getting past the learning curve. Colored pencils and/or pastels give a much better result-to-price ratio.
